Plastic foreign body in the pharynx can evade detection by computed tomography

چکیده
Foreign body ingestion in trachea is a common occurrence children. However, pharyngeal foreign bodies are rare. Unlike the trachea, lumen of pharynx not kept patent by tracheal cartilage. Therefore, it difficult to distinguish from surrounding tissues. In addition, photographed lung window, so radiolucent objects may be seen, but mediastinal window sometimes appear invisible. If suspected, then important obtain CT scan neck and also image. most thing rely on alone, use endoscopy when necessary.
